In 2021 and 2022, Sheila was recognized by Sacramento Magazine as a Top Lawyer in Appellate Law. Sheila began her legal career at a boutique appellate firm in Los Angeles and argued before the California Court of Appeal eight times before ever arguing in a trial court.
After six years of appellate practice, Sheila expanded her practice to include trial court advocacy and later relocated to Sacramento. Like most appellate attorneys, Sheila is a generalist.
But her trial court experience in disparate practice areas, including product liability, title insurance and family law, has given her a deeper understanding of the issues that drive cases and what really matters to her clients.
In her leisure time, Sheila enjoys paddle boarding on the American River.
